The ceremony took place at half past six o'clock in the evening. The bride is the daughter of Dr. John W. Poe of Midway and Ms. Lynn Tussey Poe of Cynthiana; and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Tussey, Cynthiana, and Mr. and Mrs. Emmitt W. Poe, May's Lick. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Sienkiewicz, Troy, MI; the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Biondi, Detroit, MI; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Sienkiewicz, Detroit, MI. Music was provided by Tremont String Quartet, with William Webber, IV as organist and cantor. Megan Crouse sang Ave Maria. The readers were Katherine Sienkiewicz Allen, Laura Sienkiewicz Rovner, and Jennifer Farber. Following the ceremony, a cocktail buffet reception was held at Spindletop Hall. Kendall Denise Furnish, Lexington, served as maid of honor. The groom is a graduate of Troy High School and the University of Michigan, where he received a BA and was a member of Theta Chi fraternity. He is a graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and Fayette County Bar Association. After a honeymoon in Georgia, the couple resides in Lexington.
