Cesare - Shaddock
Miss Elizabeth Dunlap Shaddock and Mr. Matthew Cesare were united in marriage Saturday, October 28, 2006 at seven o'clock in the evening in the Sanctuary of Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. The marriage ceremony was officiated by Reverend Paul Rassmussen, with music by organist Chris Brunt, trumpeter Tom Booth, The Gyros String Quartet and the Highland Park United Methodist Chancel Choir. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Dallas Country Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Henry Shaddock, of Dallas, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Hulda Gaertner Shaddock of Dallas, Texas and the late Dr. Carrol Bidding Shaddock and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Conrad Dunlap of Dallas. She is a graduate of Richardson High School and Texas Christian University's Business School with a degree in Finance; she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. Beth is currently the Vice President of Product Development with Sotherby Homes. The Groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fiore Vincent Cesare of Tioga, Texas and is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fiore Anthony Cesare of Scranton, Pennsylvania and Mrs. Catherine Tix Fleming of Alpharetta, Georgia and the late Mr. Eugene Joseph Gribbin. He graduated from JJ Pierce High School in Richardson, Texas and received an Associate of Arts degree from Sacramento City College. Matt is currently employed as a Project Manager with Shaddock Homes. Escorted by her father, the bride chose an elegant strapless ivory satin faced organza gown from the luxe collection made by Vera Wang for Neiman Marcus. The gown featured a fitted bodice with delicate pintucking at the neck and waistlines. The corseted lace-up back created an inset with multiple rows of hand pleated organza which fell gently to a chapel train. A double tier veil of ivory silk illusion accented with a small satin trim cascading beyond her train completed her ensemble. Serving as maid of honor was Miss Elaine Cesare of Dallas, sister of the groom. The bridesmaids were Miss Jana Beth Bennett of New Braunfels, Texas, Mrs. Ashley Paige Baganz of Fort Worth, Texas, Miss Farrah Morey Goodell of Dallas, Miss Claudia Samantha Ledyard of Dallas, Mrs. Leah Moriah McCarthy O'Toole of Irving, Mrs. Kate Jackson Potter of Houston, Miss Stephanie Anne Quadri of Dallas, Mrs. Elisabeth Smith Shaddock of Dallas, Mrs. Julia Michelle Shaddock of Plano, Texas, Miss. Martha Laurie Holbert Small of Austin, Texas, Miss Camille Catherine Smith of Richardson, Texas, Miss Amanda Ann Welsh of New York, New York. Serving as the brides house party were Mrs. Jessica Lauren Rhodes of Plano, Texas, Mrs. Hilary Heath Zaino of Fort Worth, Texas, Miss Keri Danese High of Austin, Texas, and Miss Marsy Michelle Darland of Plano, Texas. The flower girl was Miss Kamryn Elisabeth Schermann of Dallas. The groom's brother, Mr. David Cesare of San Francisco, California, served at the best man. The ring bearer was Master Alexander Barnett Shaddock of Dallas, nephew of the bride. Following a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Dallas, Texas.
